Mission
New Age Prep is a nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting high-achieving students from underserved communities in gaining admission to private schools. Our mission is to cultivate well-rounded students through diverse extracurricular activities and immersive summer academic enrichments programs. By providing comprehensive preparation for admissions and life at private high schools, we strive to unlock the full potential of these promising students, enabling them to reach their personal best and achieve academic excellence.

Our comprehensive process guides students from their initial intake session through preparation and placement. To ensure our students thrive after transitioning to campus, we connect them with a mentor to assist with the transition. Eventually, they will become mentors themselves, continuing the cycle of support and success.

Student Intake
We begin with a deep dive into understanding each student’s academic strengths, extracurricular passions, and high school goals. This enables us to create a customized plan for success as they approach application season. We also discuss the pros and cons of boarding versus day school to determine the best fit for each student.
Our goal is to ensure that our students are fully prepared and poised to excel when application season arrives.
Preparation
This stage is dedicated to building a strong foundation, so students are fully equipped to do well when application season begins. We achieve this through personalized tutoring, mastering the art of essay writing, and honing interview skills that will leave a memorable impact.
We host and participate in numerous annual independent school fairs where our students are introduced to various high school options, both in-state and out-of-state. This provides a valuable learning experience, allowing students to craft a shortlist of prospective schools and ask insightful questions.Â
Our summer and year-round programs also offer targeted preparation for standardized tests, and our interview prep helps students present their best selves when applying to schools.

Finding the best fit is crucial. It is not just about placing a student in a school; it is about matching them with an environment where they will thrive academically and socially. We consider a range of factors, including the school’s curriculum rigor and its proximity to the student’s home, so both the student and their family feel confident and comfortable with the choice.
